Our Team
STEVEN
Steven Black is the local owner at Next Door Photos Kansas City. Steven comes to NDP with a Project Management and Engineering background. After completing his B.A. in Business/Economics from Wheaton College, Steven spent time in the Arab world exploring how businesses can change society for the better and was drawn to NDPs business model directed at positively impacting society on a local and global scale. Back in his hometown of Kansas City, he loves people from all backgrounds and it doesn’t take long for him to consider you family. Outside of NDP you can find him playing soccer, mentoring youth, and hiking into the wilderness.
JOELLAH
Joellah Black is the administrative assistant to the Local Owner of Next Door Photos Kansas City who also happens to be her husband. Along with helping operations flow smoothly, she partners with realtors to tell the story of a house through various media. Working with people and helping them achieve their goals is one of her joys. Having grown up overseas, she enjoys getting to know many cultures. She also loves a good game of ultimate frisbee.
WYATT
Wyatt Craven is a local freelance videographer in the Kansas City Metro. He joins NDP with a degree in Broadcast and Sports Cinematography from the University of Central Missouri. He has worked with four major news networks in Kansas City, including shooting breaking news from Chopper 5 and Skytracker 41. Outside of the news field he works with almost all of Kansas City’s Pro and Semi-Pro sports teams. When he isn’t hustling from one shoot to another, you can find him covered in sand during the local volleyball league, exploring new restaurants with his wife, and enjoying the “occasional” video game.
JACOB
Jacob is a photographer based in Kansas City. He shoots a diverse range of subjects for personal & commercial clients. Outside of photography you can find Jacob with his wife and little girl at various coffee shops throughout Kansas City.
BROOKE
Brooke has been working in the photography industry for 10+ years now. She loves creating compelling images for all platforms of photography-portrait, real estate, product… you name it. When not behind a camera, she is on the ice officiating ice hockey (grew up in Michigan). She looks forward to working with you and capturing the great photos you desire and need.
JOE
Joe is a photographer based out of Kansas City, Missouri.
